Soros is a billionaire and philanthropist and Chairman of Soros Fund Management LCC, a private investment management firm that serves as principal advisor to the Quantum Group of Funds. He is the author of The Crisis of Global Capitalism.

Stiglitz is Senior Vice President and Chief Economist at the World Bank. Previously, he was Chairman of the U.S. Council of Economic Advisers under President Bill Clinton.
