Samba 3.5.11 for eComStation (OS/2) 1.2.0beta9 ============================================== What's new? - This is the first release that uses libc064.dll instead of the special libc064x.dll that came with previous releases. - The problems with damaged tdb files has been successfully resolved. - This build is high memory enabled. Current restriction: - Right know the daemons smbd.exe and nmbd.exe are known to crash during shutdown (after running for example smbcontrol smbd shutdown or smb stop). These crashes are harmless and have no adverse effects. Samba is an Open Source/Free Software suite for Unix-like platforms, that has, since 1992, provided file and print services to all manner of SMB/CIFS clients, including the numerous versions of Microsoft Windows operating systems. Samba is freely available under the GNU General Public License. You can use this software on eCS (OS/2) in order to replace most functionality found in outdated products such as IBM Peer, WarpServer and WarpServer for eBusiness on a modern and technically up to date base.
