52created according to the Tagged Image File Format, Revision
536.0. The schemes used for compressing data in each file are
54immaterial when data are compared&minus;data are compared on
55a scanline-by-scanline basis after decompression. Most
56directory tags are checked; notable exceptions are:
57<i>GrayResponseCurve</i>, <i>ColorResponseCurve</i>, and
58<i>ColorMap</i> tags. Data will not be compared if any of
59the <i>BitsPerSample</i>, <i>SamplesPerPixel</i>, or
