OS2AHCI Driver Switches ========================= This document describes command line options for os2ahci.add. option description ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -c: set COM port base address for debug output -d increase debug level one step; currently, 3 is the highest -g:XXXX:YYYY add PCI ID as supported generic AHCI adapter, where XXXX is the vendor's PCI ID in hex and YYYY is the device's PCI ID in hex; implies -t -t perform thorough PCI scan, i.e. search for individual supported PCI IDs -r reset ports during initialization Adapter and port specific parameters The following options are adapter and/or port specific and require -a and/or -p as described below: option description ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -a: set zero based adapter index for all following adapter and port specific options -p: set zero-based port index for all following port specific options -i ignore this adapter (requires just -a) -s enable SCSI emulation for ATAPI device -ls: set link speed restrictions for port, where is: 0 = no restrictions 1 = limit speed to Generation 1 speed 2 = limit speed to Generation 2 speed 3 = limit speed to Generation 3 speed -lp: set power management restrictions for port, where is: 0 = no restrictions 1 = disable partial state 2 = disable slumber state 3 = disable both partial and slumber -4 force partition boundaries on sector addresses dividable by 4096
