![]() Filmed in Japan, Finland, Italy, France, Spain, North Africa during the 1988 Paris-Dakar Rally. Back when Mitsubishi Motors meant something.. *The movie is not actually completed, as the poor VHS version found on YouTube ends somewhere at 1h30m (the whole movie is 2h54m long). It would be very nice if someone could find the whole movie (and in better quality), as feature films set around Paris-Dakar (or Dakar) Rally are a complete rarity. Edit (2025.02.08): The entire movie was unearthed in DVD version and it is now finally completed! -- Last edit: 2025-02-08 12:56:13 |

You can find the full movie here (no English subs unfortunately, but some of the dialogue is in English): https://worldscinema.org/2025/01/koreyoshi-kurahara-umi-e-1988/ -- Last edit: 2025-01-28 16:21:09 |

^Excellent! Thank you for bringing this to my attention. It's actually incredible that somebody obtained a DVD of this forgotten obscurity. I couldn't even find anyone selling a copy of this movie on Japanese yahoo auctions a few years ago. I will work on this right away. |
