Main is an '85-'86 Eddie Bauer. |

Who, or what, was or is Eddie Bauer? |

A trim level added in 1985. Fashion/Clothes designer: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eddie_Bauer the section about the Bronco is wrong. The 1985 brochure states it was 'new for '85'; not '84 as Wikipedia says. 1985 brochure cropped from Ebay: ![]() |

@John: Vanity stuff! Imagine a Rover 827 "Henri Lloyd" (or nowadays a Vauxhall Corsa "Primark"). ![]() |

Fashion: a way of extracting money from people with no brains. |

Who needs to imagine when this happened. Think the synergies between Rover and Henri Lloyd were considerable though. |

The only knowledge I have of Henri Lloyd is of a name on expensive sailing kit. The amount of time it takes, if you are racing a sailing boat, to tear or otherwise damage kit means there is no point in buying expensive suits, Musto is quite good enough. https://www.ardmoor.co.uk/musto-hpx-ocean-drysuit-mu-sh1605 My current dry suit (a Crewsaver) cost about one third of that! -- Last edit: 2020-04-28 17:09:40 |
