 Jeep CJ-5 : http://www.wrtfd.org/images/apparatus/former/1975%20jeep%20cj5.jpg Israel builds armoured versions of the current Jeep TJ : http://www.israelnationalnews.com/news.php3?id=106201 but I do not think they ever built older versions themselves.

Initially its products were mainly for the civilian market, and included the Ford Escort, Ford Transit, Ford trucks (cargo D- series and LTS 9000) and school buses. In later years the company concentrated on the military market, assembling Jeeps, Dodge Trucks (D-100/500, W-200/600), the AMG M800 series tactical truck, International Navistar and Freightliner trucks and AIL's self-designed light tactical truck - the M- 325 Commandcar and its successor ABIR. Currently AIL sells its products mainly to the Israel Defence Forces and police, as well as to export markets.

 Jeeps have been assembled in Israel since 1953. CJ-3A, CJ-3B, DJ-3A, to name but a few.
Production was in Haifa till 1985, and subsequently re-located to Nazareth (that's AIL), where a local version of the TJ is still being built.
