This scene was the reenactment of the disappearance and suspected murder of former lawyer and associate of the Mr. Asia Drug Syndicate, Brian Alexander who was last seen at Watson Bay, Eastern Sydney on the morning of the 21st December 1981. Brian Alexander had close ties several corrupt officers within the New South Wales Police and the Federal Narcotics Bureau and who through his law firm did favours for the Mr. Asia Drug Syndicate and was the one who allegedly passed the interview tapes of the Wilsons to Terry Clark. This led to Clark to order the murders of Wilsons. Prior to Alexander's disappearance, he was due to testify in the Royal Commission of Inquiry into Drug Trafficking about his involvement with the Syndicate and their activities as well their ties to corrupt officers within the New South Wales Police Service. His car was later found parked at the Gap on the 14th January 1982. According to armed robber and gangland figure, Arthur "Neddy" Smith, Smith stated that Alexander was invited to lunch by the corrupt detectives and was taken onboard onto Smith's boat where Smith took boat out into the Bay where the detectives grabbed and threw Alexander overboard into Bay where he was left to drown. -- Last edit: 2022-02-03 04:57:57 |
