1958-59 Lister Chevrolet. Not the lower Costin designed body of 1959. More probable than Jaguar-powered because of US setting and side exhaust? About 16 Listers with Chevrolet engines (officially). Typically for a racecar no two were completely alike or even from race to race. 2nd on imcdb /v106201.html "...as often happened in the 1960s, a U.S.-built engine was dropped into a British-built sports car. The result was the Lister-Chevrolet.... The Listers swept the SCCA Championships in 1958 and 1959... production wound down in 1959, after fewer than 50 cars had been produced, only 16 of which were Chevrolet-powered..." That last number may or may not include Costin cars. https://www.sportscarmarket.com/profile/1959-lister-chevrolet |
