There's a great article at Jalopnik about the vehicles in Logan and their design. It's interesting to see that the Chrysler limousine was designed as a neo-retro Lincoln Continental before FCA sponsored the thing. Also, the front end styling looks much better in those original sketches - shorter overhang, longer wheelbase - than in the final product. As if construction of the car had been subcontracted to a third-grade chinese manufacturer. Link to "jalopnik.com" By the way, do we still refer to this car as a "Made for movie Chrysler E8" or as a "2015 Chrysler 300 (as Chrysler E8)" ? |

^I vote for "2015 Chrysler 300 Stretched Limousine (as Chrysler E8)" |

Where's the 1980s Suburban owned by the family in Oklahoma? |

It wasn't in the trailer, so it can't be added yet. By 2029 that truck is 50 years old...so I guess a law that stops Hollywood from damaging classic cars still hasn't been written... |

I want to know what the self propelled tractortrailers were in I the film. I do remember a news article many years ago about a executive at STRICK trailer proposing an Idea for such afseeing sports car would fit under an existing trailer. |

I remember seeing a DHS/USBP 2007 Chevrolet Tahoe in the movie near the border checkpoint scene. |

So in 2029, the U.S. Border Patrol is still using 2007-14 Tahoes and last-gen Explorers? Guess there was a budget cut for DHS in the Logan universe |

Heh, that was my thought too. Although, the county sheriff's office where I live was still using 2002 Ford CVPIs as late as a few months ago, which surprised me quite a bit. -- Last edit: 2017-08-30 08:17:38 |
