 Yes, the British Wallander was shot in Ystaad, just like the Swedish adaptations. In fact, a new batch of Swedish Wallanders with Rolf Lassgård, the first actor to play the role, was filming in Ystaad at the same time. (The 2005 series with Krister Henriksson as Wallander was cancelled after the actress who played Wallander's daughter committed suicide.)

P.S. The Lassgård series began with a film of Hundarna i Riga (The Dogs of Riga), released in cinemas, which we have in the IMCDB:
