  First you will have to hope they survive in zone 4. As for the seeds plant 
as usual and wait near 2 months.

Just received some seedling hardy paw paws from John Gordon

& I have to say that they are nicest $6 seedlings of any species Ive 
received, all of them more
than 3 feet in length & at least 3/8" caliper.  Im very pleased with them.  
these are the PA
Golden which according to several people are supposed to ripen fruit in 
September which is what
I need here in Zone 4 wisconson.

I also got a bunch of seeds of the same cultivar & am wondering if anyone 
knows if there is
anything special I need to do to germinate these?????

weather has been a complete roller coaster here, one day 80 next day 40 & 60 
mph winds next day
golf ball sized hail, etc.
