[NAFEX] C.A.R.&Creeping Juniper

We have considered transplanting around our new house site some of the 
abundant local plant we were told is Canadian Yew.
Upon further research it seems certain it is  actually  Creeping Juniper 
(Juniperus horizontalis).  It is on the hillsides that surround our new 
orchard, anyone know if it likes Cedar Apple Rust?    May 2 and still 
snowing.    Mn. Del
