Re: [nafex] Is grafting a blood sport?

Hi Joe,
It may be that I've been lucky having only cut myself twice in around ten years, but maybe it's my style. I LOCK (key word) my grip - including my
wrist - thumb up during the cut - never moving a joint (kind of how you lock onto chopsticks so they don't slide around, but with a different holding
pattern). Always pull straight and towards you. Both cuts I received were doing the stock cut for smaller cleft grafts when I first started and
should have been more careful of the hand holding the stock which I brought up against the knife as I let go the stock to get my wedge. DUH!!! Good
luck,
