[nafex] miniature stone fruits?

I've also been getting catalogs, lately. The latest is from the new
Stark. I was interested to see how much the selection of plants has
changed.

But the ones that piqued my fancy they've had for a few years, at
least. Has anyone tried the mini peach, apricot, or nectarines they
sell? Is the fruit any good? Do the plants work out okay, or do they
have problems? How big do they get if you plant them in the ground?
Are they worth a try in the ground in zone 6? I don't have room for
another tree, but fresh apricots would be a treat, and peaches and
nectarines might be fun.

Thanks,
Ginda Fisher
eastern Mass, zone 6

p.s. I did get a standard size Puget Gold apricot for my friend, who
has a hole where a peach tree used to live. (Cut down while covered
with baby fruit by the prior owner, to the despair of the neighbors.)
If I can't grow my own, maybe he will share?
