[nafex] Re: paw paws, critter proof?
Re insecticidal use of pawpaw, two items from 2nd International Pawpaw
Conference last September at Kentucky State U:
a 3-year study beginning Jan 2002 will determine insecticidal effects of
pawpaw extracts on cucumber beetles;
Jerry McLaughlin, formerly Purdue U., now Nature's Sunshine Products,
Spanish Fork Utah, reported on research on pawpaw anticancer and pesticide
properties. The company has on the market a pawpaw headlice product.
In both cases, pawpaw twigs are the source.
