Joe,
You might try Greased Lightning, which can be found at any Wal-Mart in the
cleaning supply section.  It take out stains like nothing else I've
used--car grease from white carpeting, wine stains, mud and grass stains
from beige duck slacks, coffee from upholstery.  You simply spray it on, rub
a bit and rinse with cold water.  Stain is gone, and you can wash the
garment as normal.
