Re: [nafex] voles, screen, and rubber cement
Del, I worked at a planting of seedling trees which I had put in this past June. They are 5 yrs. and average 6'-8'. We used new 36" screening that
the landowner provided (yeah!) and cut it about a foot wide. After trying a few things that did not work out, I simply folded over the matched up
ends - about one inch - twice over. This was fast and will insure that should no one get back there for a while, it is a wildlife planting, the trees
can force their way out of a tight situation. Maybe this would not work so well with older used screening if it's stiff, but it was ok with the new
stuff.
Snow this AM, 2-3 inches of slush in NH zone 3 ........vic
