     Veteran is a high flavored yellow-fleshed peach with has equal, perhaps better flowerbud hardiness than Redhaven, but not as hardy as a REAL
Reliance peach.

     Belle of GA is an excellent flavored and very hardy white fleshed variety (almost as hardy as Reliance).  However, it is somewhat difficult to
grow in that it is hyper sensative to brown-rot.  Also, it drops its fruits some 12 minutes post maturity and has no shelf life refrigerated or not.

     If you are looking for a great white-fleshed peach, you might want to consider some of the newer Friday varieties.  Some are genuinely superior
in both taste and flesh firmness with near equal hardiness of other older whites.
