This made me go out and check, (same thing hit here on the 47+parrallel last 
fall). All the trees that still had the dead leaves on from last fall are at 
least showing a little green, The duchess, centennial and mandan lead the 
flock with 2-3" growth. The only bloom on is from a prunus americana....it 
ain't so happy today cause the current 2" rain has turned to SNOW!  you 
northerners must really be getting it today.
