Re: [nafex] grafting apricot

Where do you live?

In rainy PNW, budding is more likely to be successful because the temps are warmer
in August than in March/April.

But if you are in California or Texas, it's a different ball game.

Subject: [nafex] grafting apricot

: This year and last I obtained apricot and plum scions from
: various sources. Didn't have much luck with whip type grafting. If
: summer budding for these fruits is recomended then why are
: dormant scions so available?
: I must be missing something.
