I used surround last year and found it  won't wash off  the fruit in a
conventional washer scrubber (tew washer) especialy in the stem cavity.
Customers won't buy these apples cuase it looks like a chemical residue,
besides that it plugs up your sprayer and is very hard to mix and keep
agitated.  It is like a slurry of white wash in the tank.  Does it work?
Maybe it works on sunburn.  It is expensive.  I don't plan to use it
again.
