Are you not concerned about handling and breathing the like of the products, you just mentioned? I sent you a few solutions in another e-mail entitled, damping off. Those solutions are usually work for me and I strongly suspect that cabbages are more likely to develop damping off under similar conditions than apple.

Hi,

Would watering them in with captan be a good idea?  I also have a general
purpose fruit spray that has ferbam in it.

If I moisten the seed starter with a such a control agent in the
very begining, would it prevent the problem?
