Esrange

Like its neighbor Norway, Sweden has suggested converting its sounding rocket range Esrange into a small space launch facility. During 1993 Sweden had joined Norway in offering a Polar Satellite Service with a yet-to-be-determined launch vehicle. Later, Sweden leaned toward cooperation with the Russian Federation to meet potential commercial opportunities and its modest national orbital requirements.
