Gendarmerie Togolaise

It is articulated in groups and brigades located throughout the national territory. Created at the beginning of the 1960s, the National Gendarmerie School (ENG) trains all non-commissioned members and non-commissioned officers of the Togolese national gendarmerie. TERRITORIAL UNITS

These are units of the Gendarmerie scattered throughout the territory. They are mainly responsible for the judicial police, the administrative police and the military police.

Prefecture Guards

The body of the prefecture guards dissolution was registered in February 2017. The 500 men who composed it joined the ranks of the gendarmerie.
