Reserve forces retention. For June, Army National Guard retention was 105.9 percent of the cumulative goal of 23,647, and Air National Guard retention was 110 percent of its cumulative goal of 8,860. Losses in all reserve components in May were lower than projected, and that trend is expected to continue into June. We continue to monitor the effects of the increased use of our reserve components on retention rates.
