Summary

The remains of the Labyrinth at Hawara. It was built by Amenemhet III in the 12th dynasty. It contained over 1000 rooms. It was once considered on of the wonders of the ancient world. It was built using mud bricks. It is likely that Israelite slaves were used to make the mud bricks that went into this structure. Amenemhet III is likely to be the Pharaoh of Moses's birth.
