WordPress 7.0 Beta 2 is now available for testing. This release includes more than 70 fixes and updates since Beta 1 and introduces a new Connectors UI in wp-admin that provides a central place for users to manage external AI connections. Plugins can extend the page through a registration API and a new hook. The final release is scheduled for April 9, 2026.
