Classic Widgets

Please WP do tell me how the "new" widget work area is "better" than the old. You push this block technology like is a mandatory government face mask, and onto people who neither want it or need it.

Thank goodness. I have a theme with certain widgets that just do not display well in the new berg style widget UI. So relieved this exists! Matt M., look me up and let’s chat. I disagree that one should implement something in a web product’s core unless it’s pretty near perfect. I’m getting used to the berg (block editor) UI for writing posts. It’s at least somewhat less buggy than it once was. But, the new widget UI is still pretty buggy. Fingers crossed for WordPress that things get better with the berg. It’s definitely the most buggy WordPress has been since I started using it in 2005/2006.

Essential for older websites constructed prior to change. I have also installed it on newer sites - offers more flexibility and control.

Working without classic feels like being amputated! Classic is the new WP!
