    Built a thing to play Chrome's Dino game with mind control! 🤩🧠 Using the Notion brain sensor and a few lines of Node.js, I trained the device to recognise a particular thought and trigger a jump 🦖

    💥 Excited to announce... I wrote a book! A lot of engineering leaders worked to be best engineer they could be… and then we were promoted. It's tough to transition roles. I wrote the book I wish I had when I started leading teams.

    TIL you can quickly display a website's Core Web Vitals on Chrome by opening the Command Menu (Command/Ctrl + Shift + P in the devtools) and searching for "Core Web Vitals".

    It's been said before but, if you think something nice about someone, tell them. I've had a really shit 2-3 weeks, I feel completely worthless both as a person and as a dev, and the only thing that cheered me up were people I barely know who randomly told me nice things. 💜
