    Fantastic feature ! Thanks for raising the awareness , was new to me! In case anyone wondering how to make it the default: Settings -> search "scm default" and change the first setting to tree (or add "scm.defaultViewMode": "tree" in settings.json)

    Why I like vs code zen mode( CTRL + K, Z) ... 1. It reduces distractions and let's me focus on the 2. It makes my screen look bigger and hence easy to read through my code(full screen). 3. It's all dark(full screen)😇....

    Today's setting: editor.minimap.renderCharacters When you disable editor.minimap.renderCharacters, VS Code will render colored blocks instead of the actual character glyphs in the minimap. You may find this makes code in the minimap easier to identify
