SCREENWRITER

Jill Golick spent much of her career working as a screenwriter, showrunner and digital storyteller; writing for children’s, drama, soap and interactive. Jill, brings an ear for story, an instinct for audience and a passion for innovation. Her 30+ years Canadian and international experience encompasses every phase of production from development to distribution. She has written and produced across television, film, interactive and digital media. She is best know for her tween detective series, Ruby Skye P.I.. She is executive producer of the documentary film Bulletproof: A Lesbian’s Guide to Surviving the Plot and has hosted two podcasts, Story + Audience and Writers Talking TV (now Writers Talking Screen). Golick served in a wide range of screen industry roles including president of the Writers Guild of Canada (2010-2018), Executive Director of Women in View (2019) and founding member of Webseries Canada. Today, Jill continues to write and to support other writers as a coach, workshop leader and as member of the board of Amherst Writers and Artists.
