Universalis

Podcast notes

Spoken word

In the Universalis apps, you can listen to the spoken readings at Mass, and the spoken Liturgy of the Hours. These both come by subscription. What is available and how to try it.

Universalis e-books

If you have an e-book reader such as the Kobo or the Amazon Kindle then it won’t be able to run our apps. But you can still create Universalis e-books to read on your device. Here are all the instructions.

How to give Universalis for Christmas

iPhone/iPad and the App Store: If your friend has an iPhone or iPad as well, and lives in the same country as you, Apple will let you give apps as gifts. Here are Apple’s instructions.

Google Play let you give a gift card to someone in the same country but only un the UK, the USA, and Mexico. Here is their page about it.

Best of all, give a Universalis registration code. This works everywhere – iPhone, iPad, Android, Mac, Windows, and e-books – and you can give it internationally.

  1. Buy a registration code from us.
  2. Send it to your friend along with the instructions which came with the code.
  3. Tell us who the new owner is. That way, if your friend forgets the code in a few years’ time, we’ll be able to look in our database and help.
