Membership to United Spinal is free and open to individuals who are living with spinal cord injury or disease, all wheelchair users, their family members, friends and healthcare providers who reside in the United States. Join United Spinal and select a chapter on our membership form.

We welcome applications from groups interested in forming chapters in cities where they do not exist. The process is simple. Click here for more information.

United Spinal Association Chapters are self-dependent organizations that share the goals of United Spinal Association and support them within a specified geographical region. They support the SCI/D community in many different ways – by promoting health and well-being, promoting inclusion and independence, organizing local events and projects, advocating for rights and accessibility, and offering information and support to their chapter communities.
