Our company offers rapid prototyping in a form of 3D print. Currently we have access to two 3D printing techniques – filament printing and Low Force Stereolithography (hardening resin with laser light).
Low Force Stereolithography
Pros:
- high resolution – minimum layer of 25 μm
- minimum post-processing
Cons:
- higher cost
- longer printing time
- limited printing area
- fragile printout
Good for:
- miniatures or gaming pawns, detailed scenery, jewelry, small scale models, master models
Bad for:
- large life-size items
- elements that will be put to a force
Filament printing
Pros:
- cheap
- quite fast
- large printing area
- resilient printout
