The Zero

The zero can sometimes be confused with the uppercase or lowercase letter o. Many designers avoid this by drawing it in a different size from the letters. The uppercase 0 is also narrower and lighter than the capital O. With the lowercase variant it is the other way around.

The Four

The four is something pretty special. No other figure has so many variants available. A lean diagonal with a bold slash, a lean diagonal with a lean slash or a bold diagonal with a lean slash.

We’ll continue with the diagonal. This can also occur in different ways: straight or curved, constant or swelling as well as connected to the stem or open. Oh, and the vertices: pointed or blunt is the key here. The height of the stem? Varies considerably in the open version.

You could write about the four forever. But you were actually looking for Fonts, right?
