You may be wondering what the point is. If you are unfamiliar with news aggregators, the idea is that a program (the aggregator) pulls a small text-only "feed" from this site which lets you know when it has been updated. The real power in this is that you can track multiple sites this way.
To try out the feeds, you need to use an aggregator. There are many different ones available, many for free. Popular at the moment are FeedDemon for Windows, NetNewsWire for Mac OS X, and Bloglines or Google Reader which are platform-neutral, web-based news reader.

To set the LUGNET ticker up with IE, use this registry file (thanks to Jon Palmer). Here is a the backup of his registry to restore IE's default settings. I haven't tested this myself, so use at your own risk. If anyone wants to supply me with a registry key for use with Classic Castle or 1000Steine, I'd be happy to post them here.
