I got a set of these at Little Wars. Slowly painting them. Some are resin and some high density foam.

I fell down the fucking steps. In side the house, not on the iced up stairs in front of the house. There I was minding mind on business, doing women's work, the laundry. I couldn't see the steps. I was counting, counting poorly. Stepped down and there was a step still to go.
I cannot say it was becasue, I am a fat bastard or that the laundry was there, but one or the other stopped my fat ass from going down the rest of the steps? High ankle sprain, walking with a limp and pain standing.
The short is the laundry is done. And I won't be doing laundry no more. I missed playing Warmaster with Kal. I have been sitting around painting.

In case the resin was melting, I UV-ed them for 2 hours. No change. Then took mineral spirits to them. The resin is not melting. Its the rattle can reacting with something on the Cougars.
AP DA green. Warmed the can, good old shaking, sticky. Board not sticky. Different brand. Different material. First Cougars were resin poured. 2nd group resin printed.
I went after them with mineral spirits before ordering all new and throwing them out. Good new, mineral spirits does not melt UV resin. Only part of the rattle can came off. That which came off was easy. Qtips with enough rubbing to destroy them.
The cans must be old. Its the same for both tan, black and AP DA. The paint, I guess, stratified. The black is the only one I kept. It went on to resin prints and metal minis with no issue.
I am not so swallowed up by The Ranch to forget Sammy time. The Atlantic plastic Samurai mini's spear do not travel well. When I take them, I lose 4-6 spears. They snap off packed in foam in my bag, checked or carry on. And I lose a spear or two getting the little fuckers off the sprue. So.........Sammy time is only at home. Which I have not been in a while.
When I did the original Warmaster Samurai. I used taller grass. I had imagined them fighting across rice fields. On the last visit, in Yamanashi, they had planted in stages. Some rice was drying, some just started, and more than half mid way. This is why I have 1mm-2mm tuffs down and a muddy texture.
That's right boys and girls, the flying cock is back. This award is only pulled out for the finest of our American Treasures. It is not easy to win. You have to truly apply yourself, screw someone as if you owned them, or be completely FUBAR.
All I wanted to do was pull some minis out of a box, glue to a base, and pack them for the road. two plus days later and I am out of time and still at it.
Today we have a 3D print factory, dracominiatures on Etsy. The order was placed Oct 13th. I had to reach out 3 times. Each time I earned a different production date or ship date. All dock dates were missed. They magically showed up 2 days ago.
All the minis were tossed in newspaper like a road side Scottish Fish & Chips place out on the cobbles. No bubble wrap. Not even in a plastic bag.
The prints are resin. dracominiatures failed to completely clean/cure them. Danger, danger right? No we are lucky. Why? Because this Mofo never removed the supports. Which is most likely why they survived shipping. That and not being fully cured the flexibility was greater.
Every other print factory sends supports removed. You get a special note on how to remove them without destroying your new toys. Nothing about wearing gloves or safety!
