Ty's Promotion

Ty got a promotion at Fidelity last week and I could not be more proud of him!  He has been working so hard and always has the highest leads/ sales on his team (and in the country the past two months!) and I am so grateful for how hard he works and everything he does to make sure that we are comfy and happy.  I wanted Ty to know just how much his hard work means to me so I had a nice little set up for him when he got home and then we went to dinner.

I also got him a book from what I call the "Skalla Family Required Reading" list, The Richest Man in Babylon, one of my dad's favorites.  After he got home, and I jumped up and down like a 6 year old for a few seconds we went to Macaroni Grill

This is also the last place I had a Diet Coke...I'm one week strong, any bets on how long it'll last this time? lol

Anyways, congratulations Ty! Thanks for everything you do, I love you!

Graduation

Finally!!!  It feels like I've been in school for forever and it is so weird that I am DONE! No more tests, no more homework, no more rushing to class and no more looking for a decent parking spot!

I decided not to walk because UVU only does it once a year in April and I refused to walk, and take the pictures and celebrate and then go to class the next day.  I had senioritis bad enough and I knew "graduating" would not help.  Ryan is graduating from high school this coming April and his Mountain Vista robes are green like my UVU robes so I'll take pictures then :)

Instead, to celebrate Ty picked me up from school with a sweet little surprise

Then we headed to my favorite, Outback, to meet his parents. 

 Since then, I'm suprised how much....and how little....time I have.  I tease Tyler, "I'm pretty sure someone promised the house would be immaculate and every meal would be made from scratch and I'd have time to read and craft and learn how to sew.....but all of that still isn't happening, what's the deal!" Lol I guess time just finds a way to fill itself up!
