Teach-in at Hawaii Hall
The Budget Crisis - UH Manoa
October 7, 2009

Over 60 students and faculty gathered at Kennedy Theater and marched through the center of campus to Hawaii Hall for a teach-in on the UH budget and proposed deep budget cuts. As people joined in, the crowd eventually swelled to as many as 500, who endured the very hot noon sun on a humid day to support their university.

Marching towards Hawaii Hall, a chant rang out. "Save UH".
Then a call: "Whose university?" The answer: "OUR university."
