Summary
Rusted Treetops is a third-person shooter set in an apocalyptic world where Raccoons are in charge.
The tone and feel has an eerie Tim Burton-ish style, and the comedy is a mix between Monty Python and Adam Sandler.
The story
Our hero, Harold the Squirrel, wakes up and finds himself imprisoned by the Raccoons.
He can't remember how or why he got there, but he overhears the guards talking about his soon-to-be-executed…well, execution.
Harold needs to escape quick. And when he does, he finds his family who fill in the blanks for him.
Thus begins a long journey where Harold needs to take down the evil Raccoons and bring justice to himself and his family.
Gameplay
The game is a mix between Hitman's stealthy and tactical approaches, Mad Max's feel for the melee fighting scenarios and Inside when it comes to the eerie, inexplainable feeling the world has to it.
The player will find and upgrade weapons, skills, and build his home base, set up traps and use tactics and recon-missions to determine the best way to defeat the Racoons.
Sprinkled with lots of humor and comedy, this is a game you will love playing from start to end!
Now we just have to make it.
