CNET reports new VR motion controllers coming for Windows 10. Announced at the Microsoft Build developer conference, the controllers work without external tracking sensors - presumably through an inside-out tracking algorithm - giving the freedom to move from room-to-room with precise and responsive tracking of movement.

The controllers will be sold alongside Windows VR / mixed reality headsets in time for the holiday season, and the previously announced Acer entry-level headset will come with the controllers for $399 USD.
