ANGOSAT-1
Angolan Telecommunication Companies altogether they spend monthly approximately over 30 million US dollars in renting satellite capacities, with The implementation of ANGOSAT-1 project which is the construction and the launch of the first Angolan communication satellite, it will attempt to address some of the most challenging problems in communication access: prices, connecting Angolan cities and provinces across a large landmass, where copper or fiber telecommunication networks would be cost prohibitive. The progress of the ANGOSAT-1 project is currently at 64%, and bellow we discuss and present how the project is structured, its importance and the different challenges.
