- Etymology: Derived from the Latin con-color, meaning of the same color; named for the uniform background coloration.

Plant Habit
- Leaves: 4-6, 10-16 cm long, 2-4 cm wide, above mottled dark and pale green, below light green finely spotted with purple
- Inflorescence: 1- (rarely 2-5-) flowered, up to 8 cm long, finely white-pubescent, green heavily spotted with purple
- Bloom: 5-7 cm wide
