Majlis Commission Confirms : "Luxury Cars were imported instead of medicine"

Maserati Celebrations in Iran
It was a story that started in the Guardian by Saeed Kamali, the pro-Rowhani Iranian journalist who nominated Hasan Rowhani for the Nobel Peace Prize. Manouchehr Esmaili-Liousi, a haemophiliac patient had died as a result of a hiking accident and never even got to the hospital, but the story of the tragic accident was changed into a haemophiliac boy in Iran "dying in hospital after his family failed to find the vital medicine he desperately needed for his disease."

"Sanctions are Causing Medicine Shortage in Iran and Killing Patients" soon became the sexy preferred headline in the Western media. Western newspapers and news sites raced each other with similar news headlines and the Islamic Republic lobby groups in the West had a feast with yet another too common phenomenon of lazy journalism in the Western mass media. See also NIAC Profiteering from Deceit. Only the Times of London reported what was actually taking place on the ground in Iran.

Marzieh Vahid Dastjerdi, Ahmadinejad's health minister at the time, was not saying what the Western media were regurgitating, she kept publicly complaining that the $2 Billion in the annual budget, allocated to import medicine with,  was not received by the health ministry.

It was a bizarre situation in which, Iran's health minister kept repeating the medicine shortage was nothing to do with sanction and yet the Western media kept repeating, sanctions were causing the medicine shortage in Iran!

Islamic Republic's first female health minister, Marzieh Dastjerdi,  finally paid the price for her outspoken remarks and was unceremoniously sacked by Ahmadinejad. Now 18 months after, the Islamic Republic's Article 90 Majlis Commission, has endorsed her claims. The allocated $2 Billion with subsidised currency rate which should have gone to the Health Ministry to import medicine with, was  instead being used to import luxury cars.

Nader Ghazipour, the MP for Oroumieh and a member of the Majlis team investigating the luxury import of cars corruption said the list of companies who used subsidised currency rate to import luxury cars, amounted not to just one or two pages but to several pages and names of some government officials can be seen amongst them.

"The crime of Mrs. Marzieh Vahid-Dastjerdi, who was sacked by Ahamdinejad, was that she exposed the secrets. She said luxury cars were being imported with the medicine money and she was right" - Ghazipour told the Majlis.

A Snapshot of IR's Assembly of 'Experts'

My last post was about the head of the Islamic Republic's Assembly of "Experts", Ayatollah Mahdavi Kani, showing off his expertise on Einstein and the theory of relativity.

This picture on the left is a snapshot from the 15th official gathering of the Assembly of "Experts", the powerful body which at least on paper, is supposed to choose the Supreme Leader and make sure the leader acts appropriately Islamic.

In the picture, you see Rafsanjani, the former head of the Assembly of 'Experts' sleeping. The overweight "expert" sleeping behind him is Ali Razini, the former head of the Special Court for the Clergy. Next to Razini, is Ayatollah Haeri Shirazi who is holding his head and is about to join his comrades and fall asleep any minute.

Finally the picture in the front row, placed on the chair, is that of Ayatollah Khorram Abadi who has passed away but nevertheless a bottle of water is left for him, in case his spirit joins the session and gets thirsty.

Iran's Head of Assembly of "Experts" Speaks about Einstein!

The man shown in this video below, is Ayatollah Mahdavi Kani. He is the head of the Assembly of Experts in the Islamic Republic of Iran. A powerful body which will even decide the next 'head honcho' i.e. the next Supreme Leader of Iran.

Mahdavi Kani is also the head of Imam Sadeq university.

To understand what kind of people run the Islamic Republic and who these "experts" are, watch this video of Mahdavi Kani [English translation below]

"Einstein wrote something in which he said he had converted to Islam and had become a Shiite Muslim and that he was a disciple of Imam Ja'far Sadeq, says so in foreign books. Einstein says 'when I heard about the ascension of the prophet Mohamad' where he had ascended to heavens and come back and the house door was still shaking, a process which was faster than the speed of light. The prophet went quicker than the light that walks, I don't know how much is it? 300,000 km per second! The door knocker was still shaking and the prophet had come back and he had seen all the heavens too. This is the very same relativity movement that Einstein had understood. Similar to what Mullah Sadra had understood before him, a quintessential movement, not a positional movement like crossing the road taking ten minutes, a movement of light or rather a spiritual movement faster than the light moves, Einstein said 'when I heard about the narratives of the prophet Mohamad and that of the Ahle-Beit [prophet's household] I realised they had understood these things way before us"

Ayatollah Mahdavi Kani, who is 83 years old, has been kept alive in the past 25 years by British heart surgeons who have been treating him in St. Mary's Hospital in Paddington, London.

Seven Years Prison for Iranian Student, Maryam Shafiipour

Maryam Shafiipour
Iranian female student activist, Maryam Shafipour has become the first Iranian student to be sentenced to long term prison for political activism since Rouhani became the president of the Islamic Republic.

Maryam Shafipour was an active member of Karroubi's Women's Committee election campaign team. She received a suspended sentence in 2010 on usual charges of "spreading propaganda against the 'holy establishment' of the Islamic Republic" and was banned from continuing her higher education.

In July, 2013, Maryam was detained again and spent 60 days in solitary confinement with no access to a lawyer.

Yesterday she received a seven year sentence by the notorious judge Salavati after seven months of being interrogated in prison and refusing to repent for her peaceful activism.

Amnesty international issued this statement on Maryam's plight in January this year:
Jack Straw and Lord LeMont may have the impression that things have changed in Iran and "Tehran resembles any European city like Madrid", but the truth is despite the nice shop front window for the outside world, its business as usual inside the shop.

A Public Execution in Iran with a Slight Twist

Public executions in Iran have sadly become a normal event since the Islamic revolution in 1979. Astonishingly some of those who go to watch these medieval displays, take their young children with them too. Adults along with their children watch masked executioners put the rope around the condemned's neck while the condemned accepts his fate and submits passively to the executioner.

Last week there was a public execution in Iran that didn't quite go according to the plan. The stocky man that was about to be executed asked to see his mother for one last time, but his request was refused. The stocky man who looked strong, struggled with his executioners and broke his handcuffs. Another law enforcement officer tried to walk up to him and was toppled over as the condemned kicked the officer in the chest. The crowd cheered the condemned as the officer fell off the scaffolding, but finally he was subdued by seven officers and the rope was tied around his neck. The condemned man struggled as his neck dangled from the noose until his neck broke. The same crowd who had cheered him kick the law officer in the chest, cheered again when his neck broke and he became restless.

Its all good entertainment on a typical early morning in the lovely Islamic Republic that Jack Straw described as buzzing like Madrid:

The Pathetic Khatami and Iran's Reformists

I have said this before, the political faction in Iran, represented by the likes of former president Khatami, often referred to as "reformists" in the West are not in the business of bringing about any meaningful reforms in Iran by organising peaceful civil disobedience types of actions, they are not in the business of organising and mobilising the masses to bring about any change, as would be expected of a normal reformist movement, the "reformists" in Iran are in the business of organising "Total Obedience" to support the establishment.

What I claim above manifested itself again yesterday. The regime always keen on having large numbers turn out for its masquerades, once again resorted to Iran's reformists to call on Iranians to turn up and participate in the parades marking the 35th anniversary of the 1979 revolution.

Former president Khatami and others in the "reformist" faction urged Iranians to take part in the parade, saying it will be an occasion to show unity and to "resolve our contentions".

Huge posters which read "The People Demand the Leaders of the Sedition to be Tried" while pictures showed them being hanged and included Khatami himself, was how yesterday's parades helped to "resolve the contentions"!

A Gary Glitter look alike, straight from the loony bin in yesterday's parade to bolster the numbers:

The Man Who Announced the Victory of the Islamic Revolution in 1979

It was a decisive moment in February, 1979, when the popular Iranian TV host,  Mirali Hosseini, who like many of his colleagues had decided to back the revolution against the Shah by going on strike, appeared on the national television, after it had been captured by the revolutionaries and announced "This is the voice of the revolution!".

Capturing the state television is a huge psychological milestone in an uprising. He who controls the state TV is the one who appears to be in charge of the country. After Hosseini's famous announcement, the momentum of the collapse of the Ancien Régime  accelerated.

Mirali Hosseini didn't last very long however. Contrary to his disillusions and that of many other Iranians, the revolution did not bring freedom, it did the reverse, it took away our personal freedoms and it brought about misery and a harsher despotism.

This is Mirali Hosseini speaking three decades after that momentous occasion, when he anounced "This is the voice of revolution!"

Commodity Basket Handouts

"This house became a ruin since the day,
our thinking and reasoning became dark and grey"

It is still mind boggling how millions of Iranians, intellectuals, Western educated and the middle classes included, came out into the streets in 1979 to destroy their own freedoms, their own standard of living and the future of the next generations of Iranians.

Yesterday, was the anniversary of the return of Ayatollah Khomeini to Iran after a 15 year exile.  A day which most Iranians today regret, but thirty five years ago, they were swept by a wave of frenzy and incredible stupidity to welcome him.
"when the demon flees, the angel will return" -they chanted, demon was supposed to be the Shah and their angel was Khomeini!

"Do not be content that we will only build you houses, make your water and electricity free, do not be content with just such things, we will provide you with spiritual greatness and dignity" Khomeini promised the zealous crowds after his return from exile.

Today, many Iranians had to queue up in the cold to receive their "commodity baskets".

Commodity baskets were promised by Rouhani as part of his election campaign to offset the decreasing purchasing power of cash for subsidy they started to receive when the subsidies were removed.

Each commodity basket consisted of :
- Four eggs
- 800 g of cheese
- Two bottles of cooking oil
- 10 Kilos of rice
- 4 frozen chickens

""This house became a ruin since that winter,
When it's breadwinner became a foreign usurper"

Many who had queued for hours were told they were not entitled to receive commodity baskets.

Before 1979, average Iranian income was three times that of South Koreans and more than three times income of the Turkish people. Today, the Islamic Republic of clerics has turned Iranians into beggars and scroungers, despite having had the most oil revenue in the last eight years than the entire cumulative oil income of previous governments ever since oil was discovered in Iran.

Seeing these pictures makes my heart weep with sorrow. Thirty five years of a religious dictatorship by clerics from the dark ages over Iran has resulted in such misery and indignity. A minority of cunning priests who call themselves representatives of God on earth, have brought about so much tragedy for Iran, not just financial, not just in terms of human lives, not just for our freedoms, not just for the environment etc. but they have broken our spirit.

"How did we become so low and desperate?
How did we dispose of our wit and wisdom?

By God if we had foresight and vision
We would not have had this terrible fate and destiny"

Islamic Republic: Super Efficient in Death & Destruction, Piss Poor in Saving Lives

Gross incompetency in saving lives, super efficient
in dismantling satellite dishes
Back in 2004, after the earthquake in Bam, I was quoted by IPS News Agency, saying "Islamic authorities are only efficient when it comes to putting down protests and in their terror operations. Their efficiency is in death, destruction and suppression, not in saving lives"

Ten years later, the same is still true. Last week tragic scenes of two female workers in a factory jumping to their deaths while the building was engulfed in flames was captured on mobile phone cameras by passers by. The video footage has gone viral and reported widely in the Iranian media.

What has stirred the emotions of people in Iran about this tragedy, apart from the distressing pictures of two helpless women falling to their deaths, was the gross incompetency of the fire brigade in its rescue operation and the callous reactions shown by the Tehran municipality officials afterwards.

The first fire engine which arrived on the scene failed to operate its ladder to reach the women. The women held on desperately, hoping the fire brigade will have a jump cushion they could jump on to, but the firemen couldn't pump up the jump cushion either, or as some reports suggest,  they didn't even have one. Amazingly the firemen then started aiming their water jets at the two women instead of pointing them at the fire. This made the fixtures wet and slippery and impossible to hold on to and the women fell to their deaths.

Massumeh Abad, female member of the Tehran municipality who coincidentally was returning from a meeting with the Supreme Leader and witnessed the rescue operation, told the Iranian reporters "the technical fault which happened with the fire engine's ladder, can happen in any computer operated equipment, which is why sometimes even the giant aeroplanes fail to open their landing wheels". Massumeh Abad, also added that 5 people were finally rescued and "5 out of 7 wasn't so bad"

Other officials also reacted in a similar nonchalant manner and none have resigned or accepted any responsibility. Instead, two of the firemen involved in the rescue were arrested yesterday, one of them is the fireman in charge of operating the ladder.

People in Iran have compared the bungled rescue attempt with the ruthless efficiency the Islamic Republic displays in sending its balaclava wearing forces to abseil people's houses and dismantle their satellite dishes (see picture above). Just like I told the IPS reporter ten years ago, "Islamic authorities are only efficient when it comes to putting down protests and in their terror operations. Their efficiency is in death, destruction and suppression, not in saving lives"

Below is a captured footage of another incident. This time its the fire brigade in Zanjan, attempting to put out the fire. Thankfully, there was no one in the car to be rescued on this occasion:

Jackass Straw and his "Scientific Observation" from Iran

In 1979, Andrew Young, Carter's ambassador to UN at the time of the Islamic revolution in Iran, described Khomeini as a “saint”.
Carter's ambassador in Iran, William Sullivan, referred to Khomeini as "Iran's Mehatma Gandhi".
Carter's national security adviser, Brezhinsky, thought “we can get along with Khomeini”.

When three US newspapers actually bothered to read Khomeini's writings and published accounts of Khomeini's reactionary and anti-Western views, Henry Precht, the Head of US State Department's Iran Desk during Carter's administration, attacked the three US newspapers by saying they were "severely misleading and scaremongering" and likened the newspaper articles that revealed the true nature of Khomeini, as “at best a collection of school student notes and at worst a forgery”.

Well now with hindsight we know who was a forgery and who was a school student! But the naivety and childishness of these Western politicians continues to this day. Jack Straw's "scientific observation" in the Independent after his short trip to Iran, is nothing short of the foolishness of the Carter administration officials in 1979 resurrected.

Jack Straw and his British companions on their trip to Iran, were wined and dined by the Islamic Republic establishment and were shown what the regime wanted them to see - bit like North Korea hosting tourists there. Straw's entire delegation had other agendas, other than carrying out a "scientific observation" from the onset of the trip. Lord LaMont, with his lucrative business dealings with Iran as a director of the Bali Group plc and Jeremey Corbyn, probably the most leftwing member of the Labour Party with his regular column in the Morning Star, had their business and political agendas to satisfy for the main objective of their trip.

Unlike the European delegation of MPs who went to Iran before Straw's trip and met with Iranian dissidents; Straw's delegation had no such courage. They were happy to carry out their "scientific observation" by meeting just one side and not scratching too deep below the surface.

The fundamental cause of people like Straw and the Carter administration making such comical and tragical misjudgements is that their criteria for evaluating Islamic Republic officials is not examining their track records and deeds or read their writings, just nice smiles and nice words suffice.

Sacked for Having a Facebook Account

After Islamic Republic's Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance told Aljazeera English that he wants "Facebook for everyone", I thought it might be revealing to tell the story of Azamolsadat Hosseini, the female spokesperson for the municipality of Behshahr, who was sacked from her position last Wednesday; for having a facebook account.

As you can see from the screenshot of her Facebook page  here, she is in no way an opposition figure. Even after her sacking, she expressed total obedience to the Supreme Leader by saying with over the top adulation that what the Supreme Leader says in Iran is the final word as far as she is concerned.

What she posted on her facebook account was no more than messages related to religious occasions or how her day went during a typical working day at the municipality, much similar to what Islamic Republic's foreign minister, Javad Zarif, posts on his facebook.

Of course there is an important difference, which allows Zarif to have a facebook account in the Islamic Republic but rebukes the spokesperson of Behshahr in North Iran for having a facebook account. Zarif's facebook is useful for manipulating the international public opinion and for portraying a lustrous shop front window for the outside world. This is not the case for ordinary Iranian citizens and that is why they have to use anti-filters to circumvent the internet censorship that restricts them to facebook, other social media and many other informative websites.

CNN iReporter a New Platform for Islamic Republic's Lies

Some of the Islamic Republic's lies are not just outrageous, they are damn silly and stupid. Websites and publications like Kayhan, Fars News (aka False News), Young Journalists Club (YJC) and so on, are so discredited amongst the vast majority of Iranians, that no one would think twice about believing their so-called news.

Islamic Republic however, has found a new platform to give credibility to its unconvincing lies recently. It is the CNN iReporter's website. Anyone can go and post any defamatory falsehood on CNN's iReporter site and CNN makes no effort to vet or verify the posts.

Once the purely fabricated story gets published on CNN's iReporter, then the credibility of a major US news agency rubs off, even on the most unlikely report. Many people seem to think the iReporter page is somehow creditworthy news and thus the old saying "If you throw enough mud at someone, eventually some of it will stick" manifests itself on CNN's unverified iReporter pages.

The Islamic Republic's defamatory propaganda has recently been targeting the presenters on the popular Iranian satellite television channel, Manoto TV. The depressing drab IR state TV, unable to compete with the popular Iranian satellite TV station, broadcast from London,  has resorted to portray the TV's presenters as immoral degenerates who will set a bad example to the youth of Iran.

Here is their most recent attempt against Raha Etemadi, a popular presenter and host on Manoto TV:
"Iranian Artist Arrested"
http://ireport.cnn.com/docs/DOC-1047193

An average reader with a reasonable number of brain cells may soon realise something fishy about the story posted on CNN's iReporter site, by reading Raha Etemadi was arrested on the "border of Netherlands and Denmark"! but it seems CNN is happy to once again be of service to the Islamic Republic.

Even a Pixelated Fernanda Lima was too Much for Iran State TV

As I mentioned in the previous post, the graphic images of Catherine Ashton being kissed and embraced by John Kerry and Laurent Fabius, after an agreement was reached in the Geneva talks, was just too much for the Islamic Republic's state TV. That crisis however was quickly resolved by some good pro-active readiness on behalf of the state TV's experts in "image pixelating and blurring" department.

But just when the state TV chiefs in the Islamic Republic, could breathe a sigh of relief after their successful blurring of Catherine Ashton's provocative images, they were hit by the tsunami of Fernanda Lima appearing in the Brazil 2014 World Cup draw ceremony.

State TV's Adel Ferdowsipour, was ready to host the program with three football guests on his show. The messages in his earpiece however kept telling him to delay the start of the program. There must have been a glimmer of hope that Fernanda was not going to be present for the entire show and may decide to walk away after a few minutes and abandon the show. Prayers were said in earnest "God, Almighty, please make Fernanda go away" but to no avail.

For a few seconds, an overview of the stage, with the lights off, was shown, just to get the ambiance of the moment, but how long can you show a dark stage on a TV program? The host joked, "wouldn't it be good to broadcast the entire show like this? it will be easier to report it".
He was told to apply more delay tactics by talking to the guests, while the experts at the pixelating and blurring provocative images department, tried experimenting with covering up Fernanda with all the cover up tools they had at their disposal.

Ferdowsipour struggled to find a suitable subject to talk about. After all, the show was about the world cup draw and viewers wanted to know which team was selected to be in which group?!

Finally it was decided that Fernanda was just too sexy and provocative, even if blurred or pixelated.
The live coverage of the draw was cancelled and it was back to the studio for good. Why show Fernanda at all, when the host and the guests could just talk about it?

The thoughts of the faithful viewers squinting their eyes to de-pixelate Fernanda must have gone through the minds of the "moral guidance" officers and even further horrified them. The way things worked out however, they won't have to face the wrath of the Friday Prayer sermon leaders next week and can sleep well, at least until Brazil 2014 starts!

How the Islamic Republic State TV Censored the Kissing and Embracing of Ashton

This is how a historic moment is shown on Islamic Republic state TV. Finally the 5+1 and the Islamic Republic reach an agreement on the nuclear issue. Ministers and negotiators congratulate each other by kissing and embracing one another, but thank God, the state TV censors in Iran were on full alert and covered up the erotic scenes of Catherine Ashton being kissed ad embraced which could have led to the sexual provocation of the faithful viewers.

How to Deal with a Nuclear Explosion Islamic Republic Style

What will happen, if God forbid, there is a nuclear explosion in the Bushehr nuclear reactor? Iran straddles a major geological fault line, making it prone to seismic activity, hence ensuring any nuclear plant's safety in Iran, is a top priority concern.

If this has ever been one of your concerns too, then fear no more, for the Islamic Republic's emergency forces are more than adequately equipped and trained to deal with such a disaster.

See below, pictures of special exercises or as the Islamic Republic authorities called them, "Bushehr Nuclear Explosion Readiness Manoeuvres"

The fire fighting sisters dressed in their presumably radioactive protection providing chadors, will ensure no females working at the plant will have their heads uncovered if they escape the explosion.
The strip with the mushroom cloud sign, seen below, will alert everyone where the radioactive affected areas are.

Latest technology fire fighting equipments, like the shovel seen below, will be used to put out nuclear fires. There may be some collateral damage as seen in the picture, with the person using the shovel throwing some earth on the person standing behind. Special face masks will be provided but wearing them will be optional.

Of course hand held fire extinguishers will also be used. Only a few elite Baseej members will use the hand held fire extinguishers however, as sanctions mean they are in short supply.

Below, what appears to be a suicide fire fighting sister, runs towards a nuclear fire to martyr herself for the Islamic Republic.

Two Baseej brothers help each other with securing the nuclear perimeter zone. The challenge is to attach the strip to the mushroom sign previously secured safely in the ground by the Russian scientists.

Oops! There is one brother caught by surprise as the nuclear fire engulfs him. The surgical mask worn by the Baseej brother should prevent him from inhaling the harmful smoke.

Well there you have it. After a hard day of Nuclear Readiness Exercise, the sisters march off for a well deserved drink and and friendly frolicking with the elite Baseej brothers, having saved millions from a nuclear disaster.

The real efficiency of the Islamic Republic has never been in saving lives but in taking lives.

They Murdered Love

The 17 year old Avian, an Iranian girl from the village of Hanjalieh in the Kurdish region, went out hiking and sightseeing with her brother and her fiance, outside the town of Baneh last Thursday.

On their way back, the Revolutionary Guards dressed in plain clothes, suspected the couple of being smugglers and opened fire on them without giving a prior warning.  The bullets hit Avian in her legs and in her back. She died two days later in hospital as a result of her injuries.

Avian and her fiance were due to get married today.

Avian's brother was allowed to be present during the autopsy. A Revolutionary Guard was also present during the autopsy and told him "Why are you so upset? We are in the holy month of Moharram. The blood money compensation for the victim's family will be twice as much!"

Avian in Kurdish means Love. Once again they murdered love in the Islamic Republic.

This flyer which was stuck on the walls thanked all the people who turned up for Avian's funeral. It started with this poem:

"My little sister, Avian,
  Your heavenly white wedding dress
made all our seasons shine so bright
and that bullet that was shot towards you
will one day go back towards the barrel it came from
   to compensate your wasted beauty
   Sleep my little sister,
so that the howling of the wolves
Does not disturb your autumn sleep
Put your head down and sleep well"

Extracts of the Supreme Leader's Speech to Baseej Hours Before Geneva Talks

Extracts from Supreme Leader’s speech to 50,000 Baseejis today, just hours before the Geneva talks:

"Is the Islamic regime after war with others? this is the statement that is heard from the mouth of the region's dog with rabies, i.e. the Zionist regime, that 'Iran is a threat to the world'. The ones that threaten the world are those who have brought nothing but evil for the world, like this very illegitimate Zionist regime"

"wherever there is a stage for the test of strengths, we should stand up to the enemy. Your will must overcome the will of the enemy.  Your resolve must overcome their resolve. In the battlefield of Jihad, any turning back and running away from the enemy is forbidden in Islam and in the Koran."

"Heroic flexibility is an artful manoeuvre to achieve the final goal"

"Any forward and backward move in the battlefield must be in line with the previously decided objectives"

"The animosities  of the Islamic rule are directed towards the world arrogance. The world arrogance thinks crimes against nations is permissible  Today the state of America is at the head of all global arrogance"

"We will not accept a compromise" song performed in the former US embassy compound in Tehran

The following song was performed in the former US embassy compound in Tehran to commemorate the anniversary of the US embassy takeover, one day before the last round of Geneva talks. The former US embassy compound has been occupied by the IRGC since.
The yellow flags being waved by the enthusiastic trusted audience have "Death to America" written on them.
See the translation of the song below the footage.

We will fight, we will die, we will not accept a compromise (2)
In the battle fields with the world devouring enemy,
These vultures of the swamps
We will not accept a compromise (2)
Chorus : "We will not accept a compromise "

poison in the chalice of the enemy
is like nectar for the comrades

We are the volcanoes of wrath
We will not accept a compromise (2)
Chorus : "We will not accept a compromise "

America, America, the world devouring America

Your sanctions and your threats, have no effect any more
The damnation of our oppressed against you will not let off

Chorus "will not let go of you" x2

The massacre of the innocent people of Gaza and Palestine
Leaves no alternative but revenge for Muslims

Chorus "There is no other alternative" x2
Chorus "We will fight, we will die, we will not accept a compromise (2)"

Imperialism and the Zion,
You are soaked in blood

We are the inheritors of Martyrs
We will not accept a compromise

chorus "We will not accept a compromise" x2

(America) unaware of religion and faith
and the fury of every Muslim
Our oath is to the Koran
We will not accept a compromise
Chorus : "We will not accept a compromise " x2
Chorus : "We will not be humiliated" - repeated

Supreme Leader's Training in Moscow Also Mentioned in Carole Jerome's Book

Its nearly three years since Russia Today, broadcast a piece celebrating the 50th anniversary of the People's Friendship University of Russia.

The university also known as Patrice Lumumba university, named after the Congolese independence leader, became the alma mater of terrorists such as Carlos and third world leaders who were assigned to spread the Soviet ways upon returning to their home countries.

In the footage shown on Russia Today to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the university, there was also a brief mention of its alumni who are now world leaders.

The presenter went on to name Ali Khamenei, the Supreme Leader of Iran as one of the university's alumni. The mention of Ali Khamenei having been trained in Moscow, quickly made some headlines on the Iranian cyberspace, although the former Tudeh party [Iran Soviet backed Communist party] members and sympathisers running BBC Persian did their best to ignore the revelation. RT and PFUR officials have since remained silent about the unintended disclosure made on the Russia Today program.

Totally irrelevant to the above, last week, I have been reading a book called, The Man in the Mirror, written by the Canadian CBC reporter, Carole Jerome. The book is about Sadeq Ghotbzadeh, a life long revolutionary who opposed the Shah and became a close aide to Ayatollah Khomeini in exile. Ghotbzadeh became the first head of Iran state TV after the 1979 revolution and the foreign minister during the hostage crisis until he lost Khomeini's favour and was finally executed by the very regime he helped to bring about. Carole Jerome was also Ghotbzadeh's intimate lover and so became the confidant of much of the grisly power struggle that was going on behind the scenes in the post-revolutionary Iran.

As I read the final pages of Jerome's book and Ghotbzadeh's demise, I came across this paragraph, which also confirmed Ali Khamenei's earlier training in Moscow:

"A thin ascetic looking man with a fierce mien, Khamenei was a righteous zealot who, like Khoeini'a [the mastermind of the US embassy hostage taking] combined religious zeal with a puritanical devotion to some of the principles he had learned in early days in Moscow."

Lets not forget who has gained the most from the 1979 revolution in Iran, definitely not the people of Iran, but definitely Russia.

"Hang them in Public During the Friday Prayers" - Hasan Rohani

This picture on the left is a newspaper clipping of the Islamic Republic Daily, dated 15th July, 1980. It is six days after a plot by a group of petty officers to overthrow the mullahs in Iran was discovered and hundreds of suspects,  some of Iran's finest military officers, had been arrested. How the plot was compromised is still not fully clear. The planned military coup never took off the ground and the plotters did not fire a single round. Just about all factions at the time from the Soviet puppet Tudeh Party to the MeK claimed credit for having alerted the authorities about the plot. Around 200 of Iran's finest officers, pilots and paratroopers were executed as the consequence.

The headline quotes Mostafa Chamran, Iran's defence minister at the time and a veteran of PLO training camps in Lebanon, promising fundamental changes in the structure of Iran's armed forces.

There are also some chosen quotes in the highlighted box in the middle of the article. One of the quotes is by the Deputy of Semnan, i.e. the "Moderate" Hasan Rouhani, the current president of the Islamic Republic of Iran. It simply says:
"Hang the plotters in full public view during the Friday Prayer sermons".

Just to add a humorous note at the end,  UK Peer, Baroness Williams of Corsby, regards Hasan Rouhani as a "Liberal Internationalist".
