From Villages to the World: RIFAH’s National Workshop Inspires Export Enthusiasts in Goa

RIFAH hosted a landmark national-level workshop themed “From the Village to the World” in Goa, aimed at empowering aspiring exporters to take their promising products to the global stage. The two-day programme brought together participants from 9-12 states across India, fostering an environment of learning, networking, and inspiration.

The event commenced with an inaugural address by Dr. Aslam Mohd, President of RIFAH Maharashtra, followed by an impactful keynote speech delivered by Mr. Syed Mumtaz Mansoori, President of RIFAH Karnataka.

Mr. Mansoori’s address emphasised the essence of global trade, identifying export opportunities, and understanding market demands, weaving in examples from prophetic traditions to illustrate the Islamic perspective of global business.

Workshops during the programme included sessions on “Fundamentals and Regulations of Export and Import” by Br. Siraj and an Interactive Workshop on Strategic Planning for Import and Export by Br. Anis Mohammed, Director of Seahath Canning Company.

These sessions offered practical insights into business strategy development, goal setting, market penetration, and leveraging B2B platforms, trade fairs, and digital marketing for international trade.

The workshop also featured a factory visit to Seahath Canning Company, India’s leading seafood exporter, which operates globally in over 15 countries. This visit provided participants with a firsthand understanding of the export process at scale. Additionally, participants had the opportunity to explore Goa’s breathtaking natural beauty, including its serene seashores, blending business learning with memorable experiences.

The workshop’s vibrant participation and engaging sessions left attendees energised and enthusiastic about stepping into the global trade arena, fulfilling the event’s vision of connecting local products to international markets.

The programme was conducted under the leadership of Mr. Mirza Afzal Baig (General Secretary of RIFAH), ensuring its success and alignment with the organisation’s vision.

JIH Ameer Syed Sadatullah Husaini Inaugurates Tahreeki Showcase, Celebrating Jamaat’s Journey and Initiatives

Syed Sadatullah Husaini, President of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind (JIH) inaugurated Idrak Expo, the Tahreeki Showcase here this evening at Wadi-e-Huda, where the All India Ijtima Arkan (Cadre Meet) is scheduled from November 15th to 17th. This showcase is a prominent part of the conference, designed to offer a comprehensive look at JIH’s extensive programmes, initiatives, and developmental projects.

The exhibition spans numerous JIH departments, including media, education, Women’s Department, Rifah Chamber of Commerce, and other impactful initiatives like Vision 26, MDR, and various publications. Through these, the showcase illustrates JIH’s ongoing commitment to addressing societal needs and fostering community growth.

The inauguration of the Tahriki Showcase signals the start of a weekend focused on self-learning, collaboration, and engagement, with a goal of deepening participants’ understanding of JIH’s mission, achievements, and vision for the future. Rifah Chamber of Commerce and Industry Delhi Hosts Business Networking Event

The Rifah Chamber of Commerce and Industry Delhi Chapter organized a business networking event at India Islamic Cultural Centre, here Saturday. The event saw the participation of various manufacturers, traders and service providers and industrialists from Delhi and nearby areas such as Ghaziabad, Noida, and Gurgaon.

The program commenced with a high tea session where attendees mingled and networked with each other over refreshments. Following this, the program began with recitation of the Quran, setting a spiritual tone for the event. Mr. Sultan Salahuddin, State President of Delhi, initiated the proceedings with his opening remarks.

Mr. Salahuddin Ahmad, ex-National Admin of Rifah, conducted a presentation on how manufacturers, traders and services providers could introduce their companies effectively during such networking events. All the manufacturers, traders and service providers presented their companies in accordance with the provided guidelines.

Mr. Sayed Ahmed Saood, a seasoned business coach and strategic management consultant, shared insights into the challenges of marketing and proposed solutions based on his extensive experience in the field. Mr. Rashid Kamal Lari presented his company, Larson Paint, as a sponsor of the event and highlighted its contributions.

The program concluded with a powerful speech by Mr. S. Ameenul Hasan, the Chairman of Rifah, who emphasized how Rifah is evolving into an eco-friendly platform for the benefit of manufacturers, traders and service providers. He also enlightened the audience about the leadership skills of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ and the successful principles of business in Islam.

Mr. Salimullah Khan, Ameer Halqa Jamaat-e-Islami Hind Delhi, expressed gratitude to all participants and the Rifah Delhi team for organizing the event successfully.
