Well, once again we find ourselves on a beautiful Wednesday all ready for another FABULOUS challenge here at Word Art Wednesday. We're so glad you've stopped by to join us, and we thank you for sharing your beautiful creations with us. It's always such a blessing to have you play along with us, and we want you to know that we welcome EVERYONE to stop by and play along in our challenges. You are important to us, and YOU are important to God. We thank Him for your participation, and we praise Him for providing this FUN place where we can all gather to share our talents and make friends.
Our word art for this challenge is from Matthew 19:14 and it's a story that was told in the Gospels of the New Testament when Jesus and His disciples had come into the coasts of Judea and He was preaching beyond Jordan to the Pharisees and others who had gathered to hear His words. As He preached, there were children who came into the midst of the crowd, and the disciples shewed them away; assuming they were bothering Him as He spoke. We do this sometimes when adults are having important conversations, and this may be a good lesson for us to consider. Jesus corrected them, reminding them that the innocence and love of children is stronger than that of adults because it comes to them naturally; not being dependent upon other human relationships. It was significant that they are children of God, and Jesus told them that we must humble ourselves with the innocence of a child when we come to Him for salvation. This is a really sweet verse, and it should always remind us not only of God's love for children; but of His great love for all of us as "children of God".
As always, you are welcome to save the free scripture/word art file to your computer, but are not required to use it in order to play along in our challenges. We welcome you share your all your art with us; remembering that Anything Goes as long as it's family-friendly, and uses an encouraging or uplifting sentiment. This includes any type of altered or digital art (not just limited to cards). You may link up to five (5) projects each week. The more you enter, the more you increase your odds of winning. It is our desire that God's Word will be a blessing and encouragement to you as we share it. If you have any questions about the rules, be sure to read the complete list of rules under our page tab for "Challenge Rules". Because our ultimate goal is to honor God, we have no other choice but to delete any entries that do not adhere to our guidelines. Please know that this doesn't mean we are judging anyone. We're simply atempting to honor God and follow His rules. Let us know if you have any questions, and thanks for your understanding and participation!

Thanks for the fun challenge and fabulous DT inspiration!
Wow! I just came over to enter my card into this week's challenge and boom! I won the last challenge! Thank you so much for the wonderful prize and if there's anything I need to do, please let me know. This actually comes at a great time for me as I've been feeling kinda down since fracturing my ankle on Mother's Day. I had surgery to fix it but I can't even begin to start walking on it for 3 months! There goes my summer! But, for whatever reason, this is part of God's plan for me, so I'm trying to accept it with some grace and dignity. Anyway, this win is like a little ray of sunshine in my life right now, so thank you and God bless all of you. Oh and congrats to the top 3 winners - gorgeous creations!
