Happy Christmas

Hello bloggers!  I cut the Poinsettia Cover Plate with a piece of antique gold card on top of a piece of white card.  I used the white copy to colour the image.  I glued the gold die cut on top of the coloured copy.  I cut the die a second time out of black card.  I used the fall away pieces to paper piece the background into the die.  I added a black mat to it then cut a larger piece of white card and added it to the top of the card.  I cut the Happy Christmas sentiment out of antique gold card and added it to a black shadow backing piece.  I added the sentiment below the cover plate with mounting foam.  The card was completed with white, antique gold and black mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 7 1/4"  x  8 1/4" in size.

Season's Greetings

Good Sunday morning all!  I started today' card by cutting the cottage from the Winter Wonderland die set out of soft grey.  I added a slate grey roof and a pale yellow piece of card behind the windows and a fine black marker to add detail to the house.  I cut the fence several times out of white card and ran it across the front stoop of the cottage.  I added several trees out of Brunswick green behind the house.  I cut the deer family out of tan card and added them on either side of the cottage. I used Fluffy Stuff on the top of the cottage and the trees, then heated it to look like snow.   I cut a white frame using the Double Stitched Rectangles and added it over the scene with mounting foam.  I cut a larger piece of green card and covered it with sticky adhesive sheet, then coated it with Hunter Green Polished Silk Glitter.  I added the framed image to the centre of it.  I cut the Season's Greetings die out of red card and glued it to the edge of the white frame.  The card was completed with white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 7"  x  9 1/4"  in size.

Love You

Hello crafters!  I started today's card by cutting the Floral Melody Cover Plate with two pieces of white card.  The top piece cuts the entire die while the bottom piece gives a nice emboss of the design with just the outer cut line cutting all the way through.  I glued the two pieces together, then began cutting the die two more times.  Once in green and once in purple.  I used the fall away pieces and paper pieced them back into the design.  Once the paper piecing was complete, I glued the die to another piece of Soft Lavender card.  I cut the Love You die out of both Amethyst and black card.  I shadowed the sentiment with the black die cut then added them to white shadow backing pieces.  I attached them to the top of the card with mounting foam.  The card was completed with white and amethyst card.  The finished dimensions are 6"  x  7"  in size.

Birthday Wishes

Hi there my crafty friends!  I started by taping the Lots Of Love stencil to a piece of white card.  I used Spun Sugar Distress ink and applied to with a smoothie to go through the stencil.  I cut a white frame using the Double Stitched Squares and added it over the stenciled background with mounting foam.  I cut Pet Pal Bailey out of tan card.  I used a fine tipped black felt pen to add in the face and body detail.  I cut a flower out of blush card and added it to his ear.  I cut a white envelope and added a blush heart and attached it to his mouth.  I cut a pink heart balloon and cut a thin piece of black card for the string, then attached it to his paw.  I cut several pressies and added them next to him.  I cut the Birthday Wishes sentiment out of raspberry card, then added it to a white shadow backing piece and added it above his head.  The card was completed with white and raspberry mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 8 1/4"  x  8 1/4"  in size.

Warm Winter Wishes

Hello bloggers!  I started by embossing a piece of white card with the Falling Snow embossing folder.  Next, I used the Stitched Hills & Clouds to create a snowy hill.  I taped it across the bottom of the embossed card.  I used the Winter Trees and cut a variety of trees using several shades of green card.  I added them mostly behind the snowy hill, with a few in front and on the sides.  I cut the Primrose Cottage out of taupe card and added a brown roof, door and windows.  I added it to the snowy hill and cut two small deer and added them to the hill.  I cut the Warm Winter Wishes sentiment from the Festive Wordie sheets.  I added it to the top of the card with mounting foam.  I used Iced Snow on the hill and tops of the trees for a frosty look.  The card was completed with white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 6 3/4"  x  8 3/4"  in size.

May Your Days be Merry & Bright

Hello there my crafty friends!  I selected a piece of pixied card from my background stash pile.  I used Midnight Blue and Purple Violet Pixie Powders on it then used a paint brush and blended the colours together.  I cut the Moonlight Sleigh Cover Plate out of black card.  I added custard card behind the windows in all the buildings.  I glued the Cover Plate die to the pixied background.  I cut the die a second time out of white card and nipped away the Santa, sleigh and reindeer and glued them on top of the black die cut.  I matted it with white and black mats, then added it to a larger piece of white card.  I cut the May Your Days Be Merry & Bright sentiment in black ,then added it to a white shadow backing die.  I added mounting foam to the back then attached it below the Cover Plate die.  The card was completed with white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 8"  x  8 1/4"  in size.

Tis The Season

Hello bloggers!  I embossed a piece of white card with the Falling Snow embossing folder.  Using the Round Corner Square dies, I cut a white frame and added it with mounting foam.  I cut the Pinwheel Snowflake out of Silver Sparkle card.  I cut the middle die from the set out of Brushed Silver card and layered it in top of the base die.  I cut the Tis The Season sentiment out of both white ad black card.  I used the black die cut as an offset shadow behind the white one and glued it to the middle of the die cut.  I added the Pinwheel Snowflake die to the middle of the frame with mounting foam.  Using the Stylish Poinsettia set, I made three white poinsettias and glittered them with Frosted Sparkle Glitterbitz.  I added them in opposite corners and added white leaves as accents.  The card was completed with white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 7 3/4"  x  7 3/4"  in size.

Happy Birthday

Hello \crafters!  I started today's card by cutting the Floral Harmony Cover Plate twice.  I cut both of them with two pieces of white card.  The top piece of card cuts all the ways through and the bottom one is basically embossed with the design but the outside lines cut through.  I used Distress inks to colour the design on both of them, using Victorian Velvet, Fossilized Amber and Forest Moss.  I glued the other die cut on top of both of them, then added mounting foam to the backs and attached them together on another piece of white card.  I cut the Birthday  Shadowed Stacked Sentiment in black and added it to the join line of the two dies.  The card was completed with white mats and layers.  The finished dimensions are 6 3/4"  x  9 1/2"  in size.
