The Strong Heart Study

UW researcher Dr. Mandy Fretts, a member of Eel Ground First Nation (Mi’kmaq) in Canada, leads the Strong Heart Study – a longitudinal research partnership studying heart disease in close collaboration with 12 tribal communities across the United States.
