Our location in Seattle provides students with exciting opportunities to gain research and work experience in cutting-edge research institutions and biomedical and technology companies such as the Center for Infectious Disease Research, Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center, the Allen Institute for Brain Science, the Institute for Systems Biology, Seattle Children’s Hospital, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, PATH, Sage Bionetworks, Dendreon, ZymoGenetics, Microsoft, Amazon.com, Google, Boeing, F5 Networks, and Intel. Students also have abundant opportunities to collaborate with researchers in nationally top-ranked programs within the University of Washington, including those in the School of Medicine, the School of Nursing, the School of Public Health, the College of Engineering, the Information School, and the Department of Linguistics.
